START (check-in): 4-5 pm
FINISH (check-out): 2-2.30 pm
Where do I find my boat?
Instructions on how to find your boat are in your pre-departure guide. We email this to you 3-4 weeks prior to departure.
Where should I stay before or after my Go Sail Turkey cruise?
Marmaris
Starting your cruise in Marmaris? We highly recommend spending a night or two in Marmaris pre- or post-cruise! It’s the perfect opportunity to explore the historic Old Town, stroll along the vibrant harbourfront, and enjoy the local waterfront dining scene.
Fethiye
After disembarking in Fethiye, staying an extra night or two is highly recommended—Fethiye has a fantastic choice of local restaurants, lively bars, and historical sights! Staying around Paspatur (Fethiye’s Old Town) or along the main promenade is perfect for post-cruise accommodation. It puts you right by the picturesque harbour and local transport links, making your onward travel simple and stress-free.
How do I get from the airport to my boat?
Marmaris
If you are arriving at Dalaman Airport (DLM), the most direct way to get from the airport to the boat at the public marina is by taxi or pre-booked private transfer.
The journey takes between 45 minutes and 1 hour, depending on traffic.
Alternatively, you can take an airport shuttle bus (Muttaş or Havaş) directly from the airport to Marmaris’s main bus terminal (Marmaris Otogar).
The bus ride takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. From Marmaris Otogar, a short 15-minute taxi ride will take you straight to the public marina, bringing the total travel time to around 1 hour and 45 minutes.
How do I get to Marmaris?
Air. Rail. Bus. Ferry.
Your options are limitless (not really, but you know what we mean). Check your options here.
What happens if I miss, or am going to be late for the boat's departure?
It all depends on just how late you are! If you miss check-in, it shouldn’t be too hard to catch up. But if you’re a day late, you’ll need to discuss options with our Operations team.
4-day Marmaris to Fethiye departures
If you are experiencing travel delays on Day 1, don’t panic, as our boats stay docked overnight in Marmaris Harbour, so you can still board and settle into your cabin later that evening.
However, if you miss our morning departure on Day 2, you will need to arrange a water taxi or land transfer (at your own expense) to rejoin the boat at our next bay stop.
Top tip: aim to arrive in Turkey at least one day before your sail to avoid missing check-in.
