Where should I stay before or after my Go Sail Turkey cruise?
Marmaris

Bodrum
After disembarking, you have a few fantastic options depending on your travel plans:
Staying in Bodrum? We highly recommend spending a night or two here! Staying around the Old Town near Bodrum Castle or along the central harbour promenade puts you within easy reach of fantastic local dining, vibrant waterfront nightlife, and picturesque views.
Heading to Greece? Hop on a quick ferry over to the Greek island of Kos to keep your Mediterranean island-hopping adventure going.
Flying Home or Onward? Bodrum Airport (BJV) is roughly 1 hour away by shuttle bus or taxi, offering convenient flights to Istanbul as well as seamless international connections.
How do I get from the airport to my boat?
Marmaris
If you are arriving at Dalaman Airport (DLM), the most direct way to get from the airport to the boat at the public marina is by taxi or pre-booked private transfer.
The journey takes between 45 minutes and 1 hour, depending on traffic.
Alternatively, you can take an airport shuttle bus (Muttaş or Havaş) directly from the airport to Marmaris’s main bus terminal (Marmaris Otogar).
The bus ride takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. From Marmaris Otogar, a short 15-minute taxi ride will take you straight to the public marina, bringing the total travel time to around 1 hour and 45 minutes.
How do I get to Marmaris?
Air. Rail. Bus. Ferry.
Your options are limitless (not really, but you know what we mean). Check your options here.
What happens if I miss, or am going to be late for the boat's departure?
It all depends on just how late you are! If you miss check-in, it shouldn’t be too hard to catch up. But if you’re a day late, you’ll need to discuss options with our Operations team.
4-day Marmaris to Bodrum departures
If your travel is delayed and you miss your check-in and our harbour departure time, you will need to arrange a water taxi or land transfer (at your own expense) to join the boat at our overnight bay anchorage or next morning stop.
Top tip: aim to arrive in Turkey at least one day before your sail to avoid missing check-in.
